Discover how to get the powerful Gemini Gloves in Baldur's Gate 3 from Helsik at the Devil's Fee. Explore the best builds for Warlocks, Druids, Sorcerers, and more.
The Gemini Gloves in Baldur's Gate 3 are available for purchase at the Devil’s Fee. You can speak to the dwarf lady at the counter called Helsik, who sells the Gemini Gloves for 720 gold pieces.
Be careful, though, as it seems if you rob the place first and she finds out, these items may get locked away from trade. Some users have also reported bugs that they only become available when you complete the House of Hope, which shouldn’t be the case normally, as we managed to purchase them before going into the House of Hope. It’s worth noting just in case you can’t buy them for whatever reason.
Best Builds for the Gemini Gloves in Baldur’s Gate 3
- Eldritch Blast Warlocks: The gloves enable you to cast your multi-attack Eldritch Blast at two enemies, rather than at just one. It means that you can launch a lot of Eldritch Blast in a round, especially with them being cantrips.
- Druid Builds: Caster druids that use Spike Growth and Thorn Whip can use the gloves to pull two enemies within range forward, into the Spike Growth. This enables them to take the damage for crossing into the Spike Growth while you use the Thorn Whip cantrip to amplify the movement dangerous terrain penalty that comes with Spike Growth. Spore Druids can cast Bone Chill on two targets, preventing healing.
- Sorcerer Builds: If you use Quickened Spell, you can use these gloves to cast a Cantrip as a bonus action, while you use your regular Sorcerer spell. This means Storm Sorcs abusing Vulnerability can use Ray of Frost on two targets and a bonus action after using Create Water, or casting another spell to already wet targets. Blaster Caster builds can also use this to use Eldritch Blast themselves as a bonus action against two targets.
- Poison Builds: Any Poison build, such as a Necromancer that runs Poison Spray, can use the Gemini Gloves in BG3 to ramp their damage. Like Eldritch Blast, Poison Spray gets more dice rolls as you level up, getting 3D12 at level 10. If you use this twice, that’s a lot of poison damage. Combine it with the Poisoner’s Robe from the Phase Spider Boss in the Whispering Depths, then you can get some strong builds going.
- Bard Build: The Bard can use a cantrip called Vicious Mockery. If you can cast this using those gloves, then you can cause two enemies to have disadvantage on their next attacks. Making this a good item for party support cantrips.
