Gauntlet of Shar and Temple of Shar Complete Walkthrough in BG3

Find the Gauntlet of Shar: Locate it under the Thorm Mausoleum in Reithwin Town. Solve the Painting Puzzle within the mausoleum to find a disc that leads to the Gauntlet.

Shar Statue Puzzle: In the first large chamber, a statue of Shar has an Umbral Gem. A repulsion field prevents direct access. To pass, you need total darkness. Explore side rooms, pull levers to lower 'Mystic Thuribles', and snuff their light. Ensure no other light sources are active to reveal the runes on the ground. Avoid stepping on the runes to reach the Umbral Gem and dispel the Arcane Lock on the northern door.

Cloaker Chamber (Optional): Alternatively, travel west from the Shar statue to a sarcophagus, then southwest to find mushrooms. Jump on them to reach a cavern. This is the lair of a Cloaker, which summons phantasms that can frighten and debuff. The treasure chest here is not particularly rewarding.

Path 1 (via Statue Puzzle): Go north from the statue puzzle area to encounter skeletal undead and shadows. Destroy several 'Umbral Tremors' to prevent more Justiciars from spawning, then defeat the Justiciars. Allied skeletons will draw some enemy fire.

Path 2 (via Cloaker Lair): If you bypassed the statue puzzle, head north through two locked doors (requiring Sleight of Hand checks of 14 and 18) to reach a large shrine with controlled skeletons.

Convergence: Regardless of the initial path, you will eventually converge at a shrine with more skeletons. After some dialogue, a larger battle against Shadow Justiciars ensues. Destroy 'Umbral Tremors' to prevent the spawning of more Justiciars. A 'Deep Umbral Tremor' will spawn, which can summon a 'Justiciar Crusader' miniboss if not dealt with quickly. The goal is to clear the area of Umbral Tremors and Justiciars.

Continue to Temple of Shar: After dealing with the encounters, you can proceed further into the dungeon, eventually reaching the Temple of Shar.
