Should You Kill or Help Yurgir in BG3

In Baldur's Gate 3, Yurgir can be found in the Gauntlet of Shar, specifically in the northeast area or at coordinates X: -677 Y: -777. After encountering a Displacer Beast, follow it to Yurgir's lair. Upon entering, you'll have a conversation with Yurgir, leading to potential combat, cooperation to fulfill his contract, or convincing him to commit suicide.

How to Make Yurgir Kill Himself: For Bards or Barbarians, it's possible to convince Yurgir to kill himself, avoiding combat. This requires saving your game beforehand as multiple checks must be passed. Successfully convincing him allows him to become an ally against Raphael in Act 3, provided you pass a 30 Charisma check. Dialogue options include: “I’ll burrow my fist into your chest if you don’t stop mouthing off.”, “He wants you dead”, “Let’s share our experiences about Raphael. Perhaps we can help each other”, “Show me this contract. Perhaps there’s something you missed”, “Raphael wanted to kill Dark Justiciars? Why?”, “The lyrics are a trick. You’ve always had an audience - your followers. Get rid of them” (Persuasion Check), “You’re not finished yet - the displacer can hear you, can’t she? Kill her.”, and “Exactly. Kill yourself, complete the contract, and you’ll be reborn in Acvernus. Free.” (Persuasion Check).
