Learn how to find Blacksmith Dammon in Baldur's Gate 3's Shadowlands and acquire the rare Flawed Helldusk Armor set, including the chest plate, helmet, and gloves, using Infernal Iron.

Blacksmith Dammon is a key NPC in Baldur's Gate 3, especially if you have Karlach in your party, as he can repair her mechanical heart using Infernal Iron. Even without Karlach, Dammon can craft powerful heavy armor for you. After the Tieflings leave Emerald Grove in Act 1, you can find Dammon at the Last Light Inn in the Shadow-Cursed Lands. If you miss him there, he can also be found in Baldur's Gate in Act 3.

To obtain the Flawed Helldusk Armor set, you need to provide Dammon with Infernal Iron. Note that if Karlach is in your party, this interaction is only available after her heart has been repaired for the first time.

Dammon’s Infernal Iron Armor Set

Flawed Helldusk Armour

The first piece Dammon crafts is the Flawed Helldusk Armour, a rare heavy armor chest plate with 18 Armor Class. It offers Superior Plate, reducing piercing damage by 1, and Lesser Infernal Retribution, dealing 1-4 Fire Damage to enemies within 2m when you are hit. If your character lacks heavy armor proficiency, consider respeccing to gain the Heavy Armor proficiency feat.

Flawed Helldusk Helmet

After acquiring a second Infernal Iron, you can get the Flawed Helldusk Helmet from Dammon. This rare helmet, classified as medium armor, grants Magical Durability (+2 bonus to Saving Throws against spells) and +1 to Constitution Saving Throws. Its medium armor classification makes it suitable for fighter-type characters.

Flawed Helldusk Gloves

With additional Infernal Iron, Dammon can craft the matching Flawed Helldusk Gloves. These gloves provide a +1 bonus to Strength saving throws and the Lesser Infernal Touch ability. When equipped, your attacks deal an additional 1-4 Fire damage, and unarmed attacks deal an additional 1-4 Necrotic Damage, with a chance to inflict Bleeding.

Flawed Helldusk Boots

Unfortunately, there are no Flawed Helldusk Boots available in the game. Dammon cannot craft them, and they cannot be found in the game world. However, a superior version, the Helldusk Armour, exists and is obtainable in Act 3, though it is significantly harder to acquire.
