A Guardian in BG3

In baldurs gate 3, after creating your character, you can customize a Guardian. This process mirrors your own character creation but excludes skills and classes. Many players are unsure which choices to make, fearing they might impact the story. However, the choices for the Guardian are purely based on player preference and do not affect the narrative.

When You See the Guardian:

The Guardian appears in your dreams during a long rest, specifically after using Illithid abilities. To increase the chances of these dream sequences, make regular use of the Parasite and take long rests at your camp. If you still don't see the Guardian, try progressing the story further.

Important Notes:

• The Guardian is only seen during dreams after using Illithid abilities.
• You can never add the Guardian to your party.
• Choices made during Guardian customization do not influence the story's outcome.
