Navigate Granite Cave in Pokémon Omega Ruby and Alpha Sapphire. Find TM51 (Steel Wing) and meet Steven Stone with this walkthrough guide.
Alright, let's head into Granite Cave to grab that Dynamo Badge! After healing up in Dewford Town, make your way north and then west to find the entrance.
Walkthrough
- 1You'll start on the first floor (1F) of Granite Cave. Just follow the path for a bit. If you didn't grab the Flash TM earlier, now's your chance! Talk to the Hiker here; he'll give it to you. You can teach it to a Pokémon like Abra if you want, though you won't need it right away. Once you're done, head north and go downstairs to B1F.
- 2On the basement level (B1F), you'll find a move called Steel Wing. It's pretty decent for Flying-types, especially against those tough Rock-types. Keep moving forward, and you'll soon run into a guy with silver hair – that's Steven Stone!
- 3After a bit of a chat, Steven will accept the Letter you're carrying. In return, he'll give you TM51, which teaches the move Steel Wing. He'll hang around for a bit longer, but unlike in previous games, there's nothing else to do here for now (you'll need the Mach Bike later for some secrets). Once he leaves, it's time to head back to Dewford Town.
Back in Dewford Town, chat with Mr. Briney and tell him you're ready to go to Slateport City.
Tips
- Abra can be a solid Psychic-type Pokémon if you missed out on Ralts earlier. It's got some great sweeping potential.
- Don't worry too much about Flash on this particular trip; you don't absolutely need it to progress through Granite Cave right now.
