Tips
- Wild Pokémon encounters in Petalburg Woods include Wurmple (30% Grass, 60% Horde), Zigzagoon (30% Grass, 35% Horde), Shroomish (10% Grass, 5% Horde), Cascoon (10%), Silcoon (10%), Slakoth (5%), and Taillow (5%).
- Slakoth has the Truant ability, causing it to attack only once every two turns. Its evolution, Slaking, also has Truant. Its other evolution, Vigoroth, is considered below par.
- Shroomish evolves into Breloom, which is fast and powerful for single battles. Breloom can learn the move Spore, which has a 100% chance to put the opponent to sleep.
- The Exp. Share is a powerful item that can significantly overlevel your Pokémon by the end of the game.
- If you see a suspicious spot on the ground, try pressing the A button to examine it for items.
