Walkthrough

    As you enter the Devon Corp. building in Rustboro City, you'll witness a scientist being pursued by Team Magma (in Omega Ruby) or Team Aqua (in Alpha Sapphire). You will battle a Grunt.

    Continue through the building, engaging in further Grunt battles. The scientist will explain that the control device for the Link Cable has been stolen, and the description matches Zinnia. They suspect the thief has gone to Mossdeep City.

    Travel to Mossdeep City and head towards the Space Center. You will see Team Aqua/Magma members entering. Follow them inside.

    On the first floor (1F) of the Space Center, proceed to the northeast corner and defeat five Grunts in a Horde Battle. Be aware that their cumulative Intimidate abilities can significantly lower your Attack stat.

    Go up to the second floor (2F). You will find the Admin (Courtney in Omega Ruby, Matt in Alpha Sapphire) preparing to destroy the dimensional shifter. You will battle her and a Grunt, with Steven Stone assisting you.

    After the battle, Aster, Zinnia’s Whismur, will take the dimensional shifter. Zinnia will explain that this plan will not solve the asteroid problem and will instead pass it to another universe. She will then crush the shifter and take the Admin’s Key Stone, along with the team’s ex-Leader’s Key Stone, before departing.

    Fly to Lilycove City and enter the Team Aqua/Magma Hideout located east of the city.

    Inside the hideout, navigate to the teleporter puzzle room. Use the northwest teleporter.

    In the next room, you can battle additional Grunts for experience if desired. Then, take the stairs to the northeast.

    On the lower floor, head east, past a Grunt, and enter the southeastern teleporter.

    Proceed west to the next Grunt and then north through the teleporter. Defeat the Grunt to the west and use that teleporter.

    You will reach a room with a submarine. There are two Grunts to the west; battle one of them.

    Return to the previous area and use the southernmost teleporter.

    Beyond this teleporter, use the teleporters in the following sequence: left, middle, right, and right.

    On the other side, you will find Archie (in Alpha Sapphire) or Maxie (in Omega Ruby) confronting Zinnia. Approach them.

    After a brief exchange, Maxie/Archie will lose their Key Stone, enabling the summoning of Rayquaza. They will then depart for the Sky Pillar.

    As you have no Key Stone, the leader will give you their Mega Stone: Maxie’s Cameruptite in Omega Ruby (for Camerupt) or Archie’s Sharpedonite in Alpha Sapphire (for Sharpedo).

    Steven will call shortly after, asking you to meet him at the Space Center. Leave the hideout and return there.

  • In Omega Ruby, Team Magma Grunts can give you between 1,960 and 2,040 Pokémon Dollars. The Horde Battle with five Mightyena Lv. 25 gives 1,000 Pokémon Dollars total. The battle against Team Magma Admin Courtney and a Grunt yields 7,540 Pokémon Dollars.
