- 5After surfacing, head south to find the Secret Shore area, which is primarily a Secret Spot hotspot.
- 6Return underwater and go southwest to a sunless seaweed patch. Mash the A Button around the easternmost empty grass tiles to find a Splash Plate.
- 7Battle the Trainer to the northwest of the seaweed patch.
- 8Surface southwest of this Trainer. Use the Dowsing Machine on the island to find a Big Pearl and a Heart Scale.
- 9Return underwater to the initial Dive trench area and head west.
- 10West of a large rock to the north, mash the A Button in the empty grass area to find a Zap Plate.
- 11Southwest of the Zap Plate's location, find another Diver. Northwest of this Diver is a rock; go to it, then west, and look for a Diver to the north. Battle this Diver.
- 12Return to the initial Dive trench and resurface near the west end.
- 13You will see an Ace Trainer to the west; battle her.
- 14Go west from the Ace Trainer and battle the Triathlete.
- 15Return to the Ace Trainer's location and head northwest to battle a Swimmer.
- 16Head west from this Swimmer to a Dive trench, then go south to battle another Swimmer.
- 17From this Swimmer, head west towards the next Route. At the transition, Dive down and go southeast. Mash the A Button around a small empty square to find the Toxic Plate.
