New Mauville

Fly to Mauville City, heal, and restock.

In the courtyard, speak with Wattson, who is concerned about New Mauville.

Follow Wattson to his apartment by heading north from the courtyard, then west or east, and taking the elevator to 2F.

In Mauville Hills (2F), visit the house to the top-right of the elevator to receive a daily changing ribbon from a woman inside.

In the next house to the west and north, battle an old woman in a Rotation Battle for an Elixir. She uses Simisear, Simipour, and Simisage.

In the north-side apartment on the west side, go onto the balcony of the northernmost house to find TM89 (U-turn).

In the apartment to the south, speak with the black-suited man. After a scene, enter and exit an apartment, then return to him. He will give you Lopunnite.

In the right north-side apartment on the south side, speak with Wattson. He will enable entry into New Mauville.

If you have visited New Mauville before, Fly there. Otherwise, head to Route 110 and Surf east from the Cycling Road gatehouse to reach it.

Enter New Mauville and approach the north door. Be aware that Voltorbs may disguise themselves as items.

Collect the Paralyze Heal northwest of the entrance, the Thunder Stone northeast of the entrance, and the Escape Rope to the east.

Use the Dowsing Machine in the southwestern area to find a Max Repel.

Proceed north through the doorway.

Collect the Full Heal to the northeast.

Inspect the computer further east.

Collect the Ultra Ball from the northeast item ball, and the Metal Coat from the south item ball. A Metal Coat increases Steel moves' power by 20% and evolves Scyther into Scizor and Onix into Steelix when held in trades.

North of the Metal Coat, find the Ampharosite Mega Stone.

Leave New Mauville and return to Wattson's apartment.

Speak with Wattson. As thanks, he will give you TM24 (Thunderbolt).
