Walkthrough

    Upon arriving at the Weather Institute, head west and north. You'll find a PC and a bed to heal your Pokémon on the main floor.

    Proceed east and defeat all the Team Magma/Aqua Grunts on the first floor.

    Head upstairs to the second floor. After a cutscene, go south and west to battle two more Grunts.

    Continue forward to face the respective Admin: Tabitha (Omega Ruby) or Shelly (Alpha Sapphire). They will be at a higher level than the Grunts.

    After defeating the Admin, they will leave, mentioning their destination is Mt. Pyre.

    One of the scientists will then gift you a Castform if you have space in your party.

    Return to the first floor. On the southwest corner, speak to a scientist to receive a Rocky Helmet.

    Finally, speak to the woman at the desk to receive an Icy Rock.
Tips
  • Tabitha can be easily defeated with a strong Water-type move (like Surf).
  • Shelly's Sharpedo is weak to Grass and Fighting-type attacks.
  • The Rocky Helmet damages attackers who make contact. It works well with abilities like Rough Skin or Iron Barbs.
  • The Icy Rock extends the duration of Hail or Snow Warning abilities by approximately 2 turns.
