Discover the secrets of Route 130 in Pokémon Omega Ruby and Alpha Sapphire! Find rare items like the Griseous Orb and Meadow Plate, and challenge trainers.

Alright, let's tackle Route 130! This route is a bit tricky, but it's where you can snag some really cool stuff, including items that change your legendary Pokémon. Pay close attention, and we'll get through it together.

Pokémon Encounters:

  • Surfing/Underwater: The Pokémon you'll find surfing or in the underwater seaweed patches are the same as Route 129.
  • Fishing: Depending on your fishing rod, you'll find different Pokémon. With an Old Rod, you'll mostly get Magikarp (65%) and Tentacool (35%). A Good Rod gives you Magikarp (60%), Tentacool (35%), and Wailmer (5%). If you've got the Super Rod, you're looking at Horsea (35%), Seadra (5%), and Wailmer (60%).

Walkthrough
  1. 1
When you first arrive on Route 130, make sure you head north as soon as you transition from the previous route. Just to the west of this transition point, you'll find a small area where you can use the Dive HM.
  2. 2
Dive down into this area. You'll want to swim around the northern part of this underwater section. Keep mashing the 'A' button – you're looking for a hidden item. If you do it right, you'll find the Griseous Orb! This is super important if you plan on using Giratina, as it changes its form and powers up its Ghost and Dragon moves by 20%.
  3. 3
Once you've got the orb, resurface and head southwest to the sandy shore. From there, go west to find Swimmer Katie. Battle her.
  4. 4
After beating Katie, head south to find Triathlete Karsen. Take him on.
  5. 5
Now, go west along the northern side of the route. You'll spot a Swimmer out in the water, near some rocks. Go battle Swimmer Rodney.
  6. 6
After Rodney, enter the Dive trench that's nearby. Head north within this trench to find Free Diver Cordura. Battle her.
  7. 7
After Cordura, swim east and keep mashing 'A' around that corner. You're looking for another hidden item – this time it's the Meadow Plate!
  8. 8
If you surface off to the west of where Cordura was, you can find your way to the Secret Meadow, which is another Secret Base location.
  9. 9
Head back to where Cordura was and go southeast to find Scuba Diver Silas. Battle him.
  10. 10
Now, go north from Silas. You'll see two patches of empty grass. Check the tiles in the northwestern part of the northernmost patch – mash 'A' and you should find a Green Shard.
  11. 11
Finally, go southwest from the grass patches. Again, mash 'A' around this area to find one last hidden item: the Icicle Plate.
Tips
  • Make sure you have the Dive HM before attempting to get the Griseous Orb and Meadow Plate, as they are underwater.
  • Don't forget to mash 'A' around the areas mentioned for the hidden items; they won't appear just by walking over them.
  • The trainers here are a good way to gain some experience and money, so don't skip them if you need to level up.
