Follow our Pathfinder: Kingmaker Stolen Land main quests guide to navigate Oleg's Trading Post, defeat bandits led by Kressle, and prepare for the inevitable attack.
Walkthrough
- 1Travel west on the map to reach Oleg’s Trading Post. You will encounter and must defeat three Thylacines along the way.
- 2Upon arrival, head northeast to a gate, then northwest to find Oleg being accosted by bandits led by Kressle.
- 3Engage the bandits. You can choose an [Evil] dialogue option to shake down Oleg for 300 Gold Coins, causing the bandits to leave. Alternatively, choosing [Neutral Good] or attacking initiates combat, where Kressle will turn invisible and flee, leaving you to fight the remaining bandits with Oleg's support.
- 4After defeating the bandits, speak with Oleg. Sell excess loot and discuss defenses.
- 5Ask Oleg about Bokken, an alchemist. Exhaust Oleg's dialogue options to learn about Auchs and Dovan, and to access [Lawful Good] and [Neutral Evil] dialogue choices. Convince Oleg to use Alchemist Fire during the upcoming fight.
- 6Speak with Bokken, who is northeast of Oleg. He will give you a Potion of Cure Light Wounds. You can attempt a [Diplomacy 16] check to gain more substantial support.
- 7Prepare for the bandit attack: Save your game. Deploy traps by interacting with a crate near Oleg and Svetlana. Interact with a jar of tar near the southwest end of the outpost and place it near the entrance.
- 8Talk to Oleg and choose to [wait for attack]. The bandits, led by Happs Bydon, will arrive. If secured, Oleg will use Alchemist Fire, and Bokken may also use it. The deployed traps and tar will also damage the attackers.

- Focus attacks on one Thylacine at a time during the initial encounter.
- Withdraw vulnerable characters to the rear during combat.
- If you choose to shake down Oleg for money, you will receive 300 GP. Otherwise, the reward is 216 XP.
- A successful [Diplomacy 16] check with Bokken can yield more significant aid.
- A [Perception] check can help find traps, and a [Lore (Nature)] check can identify tar.
- 216 XP / 300 GP (if you chose the [Evil] option to shake down Oleg)
