Learn the quickest route to the Temple of the Elk in Pathfinder: Kingmaker's Chapter 4. Get tips on preparing for the Beasts of the Second Bloom encounter and the one-way trip through the Bloom portal.

Alright, so you need to get back to the Temple of the Elk. It's been a bit since you were last there, so let's get you pointed in the right direction from your capital. Just follow these directions:

  1. West
  2. North
  3. Northwest
  4. West
  5. West
  6. West
  7. North
  8. Northwest
  9. Northeast
  10. Northwest

Once you arrive, head northwest towards the center of the area where you'll see a pool and a statue. Be ready, because you're not going to get there without a fight. Three Owlbears are blocking the path, and behind them is a Primal Manticore. It's a good idea to use some spell buffs before you engage. Try to use the crumbling ruins to your advantage to bottleneck them, but watch out – one of the Owlbears might just cheat and go around through the northeast instead of using the walkway.

After you've dealt with the Owlbears and the Manticore, head up the stairs in the ruins, to the spot where you rescued Tristian. Instead of the Treant-Bear you might expect, you'll find a Bloom portal. This is your next destination.

Important: Before you jump into the portal, make sure you're fully prepared. This is a one-way trip, much like Vordakai's Tomb. Once you're in, you can't leave until you're done. Pack enough rations so you can rest if you need to. When you're all set, step through the portal to continue your adventure in Betrayer’s Flight - Abandoned Keep.
