Eadwyn

Learn how to defeat Eadwyn in Assassin's Creed Valhalla. Get tips on her attacks, weak points, and how to counter her healing.

Stats / Weaknesses:

• Weak Points: Left leg and right arm. Hitting these will stun her and deal significant damage.
• Attacks: Basic spear attacks (parryable), a second spear attack or flying kick (similar to Standard Bearers but stronger), an unblockable heavy thrust attack, and bombs marked by red circles on the ground.
• Healing: Eadwyn will occasionally heal herself, indicated by a white aura. This must be interrupted with an attack.

Phases:

1. Initial Encounter: Eadwyn will charge you if you advance too far into the inner courtyard.
2. Combat: Eadwyn will use her spear attacks, unblockable thrusts, and bombs. You'll also be fighting her soldiers simultaneously.
3. Healing Phase: Eadwyn will attempt to heal herself, signaled by a white aura. Interrupt this immediately.
4. Ally Assistance: You can use allies like Sigurd, Basim, Fulke, and Geadric to help tank Eadwyn and deal damage. Lure her close to them.

Strategy:

• Eadwyn's basic spear attacks can be parried. Be ready for a follow-up attack or a flying kick, which is much more dangerous.
• Her unblockable heavy attack requires a dodge or roll to avoid. There's no blocking or parrying this one.
• Keep an eye out for the red circles on the ground indicating where her bombs will land. Move out of these areas quickly to avoid taking heavy damage.
• The Brush with Death ability is very useful here, slowing down time and giving you a window to react or attack.
• Prioritize hitting her weak points on her left leg and right arm. This will stagger her, leaving her open for stun attacks that deal a lot of damage.
• When you see the white aura indicating she's healing, immediately attack her to interrupt it. Missing this chance will undo some of your hard work.
• Don't forget that you're not alone! Use the allied warriors present (Sigurd, Basim, Fulke, Geadric) to your advantage. Luring Eadwyn towards them can draw her attention and allow them to deal some damage.
