Sigurd's opinion really matters when it comes to how things wrap up, and luckily, it's not too complicated to get him on your side. Basically, you need to make sure you've backed him up on at least three out of five major decisions throughout the game. Think of it like this: don't disagree with him more than twice, and you'll be golden.

Here’s the rundown on exactly what choices you’ll want to make to ensure Sigurd is happy and you get the best possible ending:

1. The Seas of Fate: When you're deciding what to do with Styrbjorn’s wealth back in Norway, just agree with Sigurd and leave it be. Don't take the riches.
2. Taken for Granted: This one's a bit sensitive. To keep Sigurd happy, you absolutely should NOT get involved with Randvi while Sigurd is away. Keep things platonic, no matter how tempting.
3. Blood from a Stone: Remember that confrontation with Sigurd and Basim? Keep your fists to yourself. Do not punch either of them.
4. A Brewing Storm: When Dag is challenging Sigurd and asks for his axe, do the right thing and give it to him. It’s a sign of respect.
5. Blame and Sail: Finally, when Sigurd is talking about things, make sure you agree with him. Show him you're on his side.

If you manage to nail at least three of these, Sigurd will be back with you at Ravensthorpe and will fully back you as the new Jarl.
