A Sword-Shower in Anecastre

Breach the Gate: Approach the large battering ram and help it reach the main gate. Brace with your shield when red circles appear around the ram to avoid arrow damage. Once at the gate, hold the attack button until Eivor glows golden, then release to strike. Repeat this process three to four times to destroy the gate.

Destroy the Blockade: Beyond the first gate, you'll find a wooden blockade marked by a teal objective. You can destroy it by either throwing a fire pot at it (found near a well to the north) or by using a springald located on a wooden tower to the east. The springald requires about three hits, while a fire pot only needs one. Eliminate any soldiers in your path.

Lower the Drawbridge: Proceed west into the fortress to find a drawbridge, also marked by a teal objective. To lower it, you must shoot the links on either side. You cannot do this from the front; instead, climb the walls on either side of the drawbridge. Here you will encounter archers and a Goliath elite unit. Defeat them, then shoot the drawbridge links to lower it.

Enter the Church and Confront Herefrith: The church cannot be entered directly. Instead, find a small chapel to the north with a weak wooden barricade. Destroy the barricade, then descend into the church's depths. Take the key and proceed south. Climb the ladders to find Herefrith. Defeat Herefrith (he is very weak) and his soldiers.

Complete the Quest: After defeating all enemies in the church, approach Herefrith to trigger a cutscene confirming his death. Finally, speak with Hunwald or Aelfgar, located north of the church, to finish the quest.
