Honor Bound

The chapter starts with a cutscene where Kjotve the Cruel plans to enslave Eivor. Eivor escapes during Kjotve's departure. Loot the surrounding area, including nearby buildings, before moving on.

Replenish your health by picking cloudberries from bushes. These can be used to form a ration for quick healing in battle. You start with one ration slot, upgradeable to six.

Health can also be restored by eating food from cauldrons found in settlements and camps. Loot houses and crates for silver and trade goods.

Open your map and set a custom marker at the northern synchronization point. Synchronize with new points to reveal spectacular views, unlock fast travel, and discover Wealth, Mysteries, and Artifacts.

New points of interest will appear on your map after synchronization. These offer XP and materials for upgrades. You can track up to three points of interest on your compass.

After synchronizing, jump into the pool below and climb out. Head northeast to a small camp guarded by one of Kjotve’s warriors. Defeat them using your bow or by charging in, as assassination is not yet available.

Continue northeast to the Wealth location in the center of the map. Use Odin’s Vision to locate it. Loot the chest and break nearby crates.

Head northwest to Hoettrstrand. Use Sýnin to scout the area and mark enemies with Odin’s Vision.

Enter Hoettrstrand, noting the restricted area indicator. Kill the guards, using dodge and roll to avoid attacks.

Locate the wealth trapped under ice. Use your bow or axe to break the ice, dive into the water, and retrieve the loot chest.

Head northwest to find more wealth within a shipwreck below floating tree trunks. Enter the shipwreck from the southwest.

Return to the surface and use the tree trunks to reach a rock formation to the north. Follow wooden platforms to the mast of an abandoned ship.

Leap onto the mast to its highest spar, then jump to a wooden platform to the east. Climb the rock surface to the southwest and follow the path to a raised ladder.

Use your bow to break the ladder's support, then climb it to reach the wealth above.

After looting Hoettrstrand, head northeast to Avaldsnes for the main objective.

As you approach Avaldsnes, you'll meet Dag, who gives you the Raven Clan Shield. Equip it to your secondary hand slot for blocking attacks.

Enter the settlement by climbing.
