Alright, so you've stumbled upon the Wildcats of the Weald mystery in Assassin's Creed Valhalla, huh? Don't sweat it, these two lynx aren't as tough as they look, especially if you know what you're doing. You'll find this little showdown in southwest Hamtunscire, just a hop, skip, and a jump southwest of Wincestre.

The Players: You're up against an Elder Lynx and a Young Lynx. They're fast, no doubt about it, but their attacks are pretty telegraphed.

Weak Points:

• Elder Lynx: Left hind leg and right front leg.
• Young Lynx: Right hind leg and left side of its torso.

The Fight:

As soon as you step into their territory, the fight's on. The key to this whole encounter is simply to keep moving. A regular sprint will let you avoid most of their lunges and swipes. Seriously, just running away makes this surprisingly easy, as long as you're ready to take a shot when you get the chance.

Watch Out for Red Rune Attacks: When you see that red rune aura pop up above either lynx, you know it's coming. You can't parry or block these, so your only options are to dodge, roll, or sprint away. Be quick on the draw!

Lynx vs. Lynx: Sometimes, these two will actually start fighting each other. They don't do much damage to each other, but it's a good heads-up that a charge attack from both of them is probably coming next. Be ready to bail!

Hitting Those Weak Spots: Trying to hit the weak points while they're just running around can be tricky because they're so quick. If you're having trouble lining up your shots, don't hesitate to use your Focus of the Nornir ability to slow down time. It makes a world of difference.

Dodging Like a Pro: Even though they're speedy, most of their attacks have a little warning – usually a raised paw right before they strike. Keep an eye on that, and you can pretty much dodge everything. Darting around them with your dodge ability is super effective, just keep those paws in your peripheral vision.
