Walkthrough

    Make your way west of Tamworth Fortress to Tonnastadir.

    Speak with Sigurd and enter Tonnastadir to speak with Tonna.

    When Eivor suggests payment, you can choose to pay 520 silver for all information, or if your Charisma level is at least 2, insist on 260 silver.

Infiltrating Tonna’s House:

  1. From the front gates of Tonnastadir, head north and climb the rock face.
  2. Remain crouched and follow the wall northwest toward the longhouse.
  3. Find an opening in the wall to access the settlement. A hard save is recommended here.
  4. Use Odin’s Vision to see enemy locations.
  5. Edge along the wall boundary to your left (facing southeast) until you see a gap in the fence. Jump through into the long grass.
  6. Use Odin’s Vision to highlight evidence and guards.
  7. While crouched, move through the long grass to the southeast and take out the lone guard.
  8. Wait for the second patrolling guard to approach the body of the first and assassinate them.
  9. Assassinate the guard by the entrance to Tonna’s house.
  10. If infiltrating at night, be extremely careful inside the house. Avoid sudden movements and destroying the wooden barricade to the basement, as this may wake Tonna. If she wakes, run outside to the long grass and re-enter.
  11. In the basement, find the letter indicating the location of two of King Burgred’s residences.

Unique Gear, Ability, and Minor Treasure:

  1. Exit Tonna’s house and head west toward the longhouse, assassinating any guards outside.
  2. Use Odin’s Vision before entering the longhouse and take out guards within.
  3. Use the first ladder (facing north), then turn right and take the second ladder (facing south) to reach the loft and find the first minor treasure chest.
  4. Take the Tonnastadir Door Key from a small table on the northern end of the longhouse ground floor.
  5. Head west from the longhouse to a small house with a barred door. Kill guards inside and outside to loot the treasure chest.
  6. Find the third treasure chest in a triangular house south of the previous one. Enter from the back by destroying the wooden barricade.
  7. Head south from the longhouse to a hidden passage entrance, marked by a Secret Entrance icon. Kill the three guards in front of the entrance.

  • Tonnastadir is located northwest of Tamworth Fortress.
  • You can accept Tonna’s bribe for 260 silver if your Charisma is at least level 2.
  • If you blow your cover (press the cover button to crouch behind walls or objects) during infiltration, you can reload your hard save.
  • Use Odin’s Vision frequently to track enemy patrols and locate objectives.
  • When assassinating guards outside the hidden passage, wait for one to move away from the door to get an opportunity for a headshot (a shot that lands on the enemy's head, usually an instant kill).
  • A leap assassination can be effective for taking out a second guard.
