Where to find Vili: You'll find Vili chilling on the eastern side of Hemthorpe. Just head that way, and Eivor will bring up the idea that Gunnar's shield needs a bit more flair. Vili will then point you towards the master craftsman, who's hanging out in Peak Cavern, just east of Hemthorpe. Seriously, it's a super easy ride from Hemthorpe on your horse straight to the cave entrance.

Finding the Hermit: Once you're inside Peak Cavern, just follow the path. It's pretty linear, so you won't get lost. Keep going until you find the chamber where the hermit lives. When you find him, have a chat, and then it's time for a little puzzle: stacking stones. It's like those other cairn mysteries you've probably done – just stack 'em up to a certain point and then confirm the arrangement. Easy peasy.

Remembering Hemming Jarl: After you've nailed the stone stacking, you'll get a few dialogue choices. The first bunch doesn't really matter, but the second set is where you decide how Hemming Jarl will be remembered. This is what determines the marking on his shield. You can pick between Strength, Wisdom, or Determination. You'll see the corresponding graphic for each choice right there on the cave wall. Just pick the one you like best – it only affects the shield's design.

Quest End: Once you've made your choice, a cutscene will play, and bam! Quest complete. You can then exit the cave through the western passage in the hermit's chamber.
