A Desperate Bounty

First off, you'll find Hrorek pretty much shouting for help on the road just northwest of the Haervik Shipyard. He'll ask you to tag along with him to deal with some bandits who've apparently nabbed his Jarl. You'll need to follow him on horseback, so don't forget you can summon your trusty mount by pressing ‘X’ and then mounting up with ‘E’.

Now, if you're anything like me, you probably guessed this was a trap from the get-go, and you'd be right! Hrorek leads you straight into a nasty ambush. Bandits will pop out from behind rocks and start peppering you with arrows. Before you bail off your horse to engage them in melee, give horseback archery a shot. Aim for those weak points, especially the head, as they deal extra damage.

Once you're off your horse, using your bow to pick off the approaching bandits is still super useful. A couple of well-placed shots to the head or a weak spot will take them down fast. It's way easier and safer than diving into melee combat. But hey, don't sweat it if you run out of arrows; these bandits aren't exactly elite warriors. If you try to fight them one-on-one, you should manage just fine. Just try your best not to let them chase you, because if they group up, it becomes a much tougher fight.

Shooting the bandits as they come towards you is a great way to thin their numbers before they even get close. This way, you'll only have one or two left to deal with at close range.

After you've taken down all the bandits, find Hrorek. He'll be hiding near one of the big boulders. Chat with him, and you'll wrap up this Mystery.
