Walkthrough
  1. 1
Start the Quest: Once Ravensthorpe is a village (settlement level 5), speak with Tekla the brewer in the longhouse. She has been robbed of her ale and silver, and the thieves were looking for someone named Guthban.
  2. 2
Gather Information: Ask around Ravensthorpe for information about Guthban. NPCs will be marked with teal icons on your compass.
    • Octavian: Found at his museum on the north side of the longhouse. He provides no useful information.
  3. 3
Rowan: Found at the stables west of Octavian's museum. He offers a humorous exchange but no leads.
  4. 4
Tarben: Found at the bakery south of the longhouse. He reveals he is Guthban, formerly a member of a mercenary gang.
  5. 5
Find the Bandit Hideout: Speak with Tarben outside the bakery when ready. Summon your horse and follow him north to the hideout.
  6. 6
Loot Glen Ford Camp: After a cutscene at the hideout where you meet Wilf, he will ask you to retrieve wealth from the nearby Glen Ford Camp to the west. You can either sneak in or kill everyone for extra loot and XP. Loot all the wealth in the camp.
  7. 7
Return to Ravensthorpe: Escort Tarben back to the bakery in Ravensthorpe. A cutscene will play, and the quest will complete.
Tips
  • If you want to find out who Guthban is immediately, speak with Tarben at the bakery first.
