Razing Earnningstone

Follow this guide to burn and pillage Earnningstone in Assassin's Creed Valhalla. Learn how to deal with tough enemies and complete Galinn's objective.

Alright, so you've finished up in Grantebridge and it's time to head west. Your next stop is a bit northeast of Earnningstone, where you'll meet up with Galinn and his crew. To get there, just hop over the bridge northwest of Grantebridge. Once you find Galinn, have a chat with him to get the lowdown on his plan and maybe pick his brain about why he joined up with Soma. After you're done talking, follow him southwest to Earnningstone. Your main job here is to basically burn the place down, house by house.

As you're going through Earnningstone, chucking lit torches onto the rooftops is the way to go. Get a few houses burning, and you'll have some enemies coming your way. Most of them are just standard warriors, nothing too crazy. The real challenge comes from a Yeoman and a Pikeman. These guys are tougher, so you'll want to focus on parrying and blocking to stun them, or just go all out with heavy attacks. If you're struggling with the timing, don't forget you can use your special abilities or shoot their weak spots from a distance. Keep an eye out for the Pikeman, as they drop a handy **Carbon Ingot** – definitely worth grabbing!

Once you've looted everything you can from each house, keep an eye on that 'Pillaging progress' bar in the top left. Your goal is to fill that up by setting everything on fire. When all the houses are ablaze and every last guard is down, find Galinn again to wrap up the quest.
