Complete the A River to Raid tutorial quest in assassins creed valhalla. Learn how to start River Raids and build the Jomsviking Hall for 100 Foreign Supplies.

Walkthrough
  1. 1
After downloading Title Update 1.1.1, the River Raids quests will be available in your log. Activate it and go to the dock to greet the raiders.
  2. 2
Speak to the new raiders located slightly east of the dock. They will mention special maps leading to riches.
  3. 3
A River Raiding Dock will be built. Speak to Vagn, who is waiting just outside the barracks.
  4. 4
Vagn will take you on a tutorial raid on the River Exe.
  5. 5
Your first stop is Keats Farm. Loot the rations box in the central building with the help of your raiders. Rations are used to heal your crew and revive injured members. Be careful not to kill civilians, as this will result in desynchronization.
  6. 6
Head back to the ship and continue along the river to raid two Small Camps.
  7. 7
In the first Small Camp, loot the Foreign Supplies chest found at the top of a wooden tower.
  8. 8
In the second Small Camp, find the Foreign Supplies chest in a small building up the hill and to the left of the path.
  9. 9
If you choose to continue, raid the Eastern Fortification. Loot two more Foreign Supplies boxes: one in a large building uphill from the river, and one in a tent in the encampment area.
  10. 10
Return to Ravensthorpe. Speak to Vagn again.
  11. 11
Build a Jomsviking Hall uphill from the raiding dock. This costs 100 Foreign Supplies.
  12. 12
Once the Jomsviking Hall is built, the tutorial quest is completed.
Tips
  • Rations are crucial for keeping your raiders healthy and active. They are used automatically when raiders are low on health and can revive injured crew members.
  • If you run out of rations, you cannot revive your crew. If they are not revived in time, they return to the barracks to heal and will be unavailable for a short while.
  • Foreign Supplies are used to build new settlement buildings related to raiding and to upgrade your ship for longer raids.
  • The Eastern Fortification is more heavily defended than Small Camps, with stronger elite enemies.
  • The Jomsviking Hall allows you to recruit new Jomsvikings. More experienced warriors are tougher but cost more.
  • If you die during a raid, you lose all progress and rewards for that raid.
