Complete the Bloody Path to Peace quest in assassins creed valhalla. Find Wesberie, burn cottages, defeat Ynyr, and locate Ceolbert.
Walkthrough
- 1Locate Wesberie far to the west of Quatford, near the map borders.
- 2Speak with Ivarr and Ceolbert northeast of Wesberie. Use your raven to pinpoint their location.
- 3Approach Ivarr and Ceolbert to trigger a cutscene (a non-interactive cinematic the game plays automatically) (a non-interactive cinematic the game plays automatically).
- 4Choose whether to attack Wesberie from stealth or with an open assault.
- 5Burn the cottages in Wesberie. This can be done by throwing torches on their roofs or by lighting arrows from nearby fires and shooting the roofs. Use Odin's Sight to highlight the cottages.
- 6Loot the largest central cottage for a treasure chest containing a Nickel Ingot.
- 7Kill any remaining soldiers in Wesberie.
- 8Defeat Ynyr and his reinforcements who arrive from the south. Ynyr can be attacked at his weak points on his back, left arm, and left leg.
- 9Loot Ynyr's body for the unique Cadfarch Spear.
- 10Meet with Ivarr and Ceolbert in the west of Wesberie.
- 11Follow Ivarr and Ceolbert southeast to a pond to catch eel.
- 12Speak with Ivarr east of the pond.
- 13After a brief cutscene, respond to the dialogue during the peace negotiations with the Britons.
- 14Find Ceolbert by checking his tent in the west of the camp.
- 15Speak with the guards nearby. The guard to the north has information if you have Level 3 Charisma; you can throw his drunken brother into the pond to get information about Ceolbert being in a nearby cave.
- 16If you do not have Level 3 Charisma or choose not to use it, head to the cave marked on the map south of Wesberie. Scout the cave entrance with your raven.
- 17Enter the cave and proceed deeper, noting blood on the ground.
- 18Kill the three wolves near the back of the cave.
- 19Move the stone barrier blocking the way to Ceolbert.
- 20Examine Ceolbert's body to find a Briton dagger.
- 21Climb on the rock surface to your right to take Ceolbert out of the cave.
- 22Return to the camp and trigger a cutscene. Tell Ivarr the truth about Ceolbert.
- 23You can choose to continue to the next quest or wait.
Tips
- Burning cottages is quicker with an open assault, but Ivarr and Ceolbert will join the fight if you take too long.
- Ynyr's attacks can be blocked or parried, but be cautious of his two-handed spear's reach. Equipping a weapon with long reach or attacking from afar can counter this.
- If you lack the Charisma to get information from the drunkard, heading directly to the cave is an alternative.
- Be aware of boars and wolves in the woods surrounding the cave.
