Walkthrough

    Find the seer in the northernmost part of Hemthorpe, within the stave church on the hill.

    Speak with the seer and follow her outside to an area with tents.

    Speak with the seer again.

    Meditate at the summit of the nearby mountain. Fast travel to The Sleeping Jotun synchronization point if you haven't been there before, and climb it if necessary.

    Once at the summit, Eivor will comment. Meditate here to trigger a cutscene.

    After the cutscene, you will fight Hemming Jarl in his Draugr form.

Boss Fight: Draugr Hemming

Draugr Hemming has a few special attacks. His only unblockable and unparryable attack is a dive attack, similar to Eivor’s Dive of the Valkyries. Look for the red rune aura above Hemming just before he performs this attack and dodge or roll out of the way.

Hemming will also use swift strikes with his electrical spear. You can parry these if timed correctly, leaving him vulnerable to a heavy attack. Dodging or rolling will also avoid damage, but ensure you create enough distance to avoid follow-up strikes.

When you create distance, target Hemming’s weak points on his right leg, right arm, and left shoulder. Hitting all three will make him vulnerable to a stun attack, dealing significant damage.

As his health decreases, Hemming will move to different areas. Navigate the rocks to reach him while avoiding his ranged attacks. You will be notified of incoming ranged attacks by a red mark at the center of your screen. Move out of the way as soon as Hemming releases the projectile.
