Learn how to enter Asgard in Assassin's Creed Valhalla by brewing Valka's potion. Follow our guide to navigate the visions and choose your path in the realm of the gods.

Alright, so you've built Valka's Hut and she's ready to talk about those visions. To dive deeper, she needs a special potion, and guess what? You're the ingredient gatherer! She needs thistle, which you can find chilling around the pond just northeast of her hut. Grab enough of that, and head back to Valka.

Once you hand over the thistle, Valka will brew the potion. She'll leave it for you to drink whenever you're ready. Go ahead and take a swig, and bam! You'll be whisked away to a vision of Asgard. A cutscene will play out, and you'll get to chat a bit – don't worry too much about what you say here, it doesn't really change anything major. You'll realize Eivor is seeing himself as Odin, or Hávi as they call him in this vision.

Now, after that intro scene in Asgard, you have a choice: stick around and explore the Asgard storyline, or bail out ASAP. If you're looking to get back to the real world quickly, here's what you do:

How to Leave Asgard in AC Valhalla

First off, find the teleportation platform. It's southeast of where you start, just behind the big throne. Hop on that, and it'll zap you southwest, right under the throne.

From there, make your way northeast towards the Great Hall. This is where you'll meet some of the big players like Tyr, Thor, and Freyja. They'll be hashing out a plan to defend Asgard from recent attacks. Since you're playing as Hávi (Odin), you'll have a say in what happens next. They'll propose meeting the enemy on the Bifrost, the bridge connecting Asgard and Midgard. You get to pick who you want to fight alongside on the bridge – Thor, Tyr, or Freyja. Pick your favorite!

After you've chosen your companion, head northwest to the bridge itself. You can go wild fighting giants here, but honestly, it won't move the quest forward. The real goal is to push across the Bifrost all the way to Heimdall's Tower. Once you reach it, you need to close the gate to stop the enemy flood. After that, you'll catch Loki chatting with someone called 'The Builder.' Go over, have a chat, and go through the dialogue.

Once all that's done, you'll unlock the ability to 'Wake Up' and return to Midgard whenever you please. To do this, just open your map and look for the eye icon. It's located east of Heimdall's Tower. Select that, and you'll be back in the real world in no time.
