- 1First off, head to the woods located northwest of Ravensthorpe. The quest marker will point you generally in the right direction, but more specifically, you'll want to be in the woods just northeast of Venonis.
- 2Once you're in the area, whip out Odin's Sight. This is your best friend for finding clues. Look for any highlighted evidence – you'll want to examine these to narrow down the beast's location. Keep searching in the northwestern part of the forest.
- 3You'll eventually find the corpse of a bear. Examine it, and then use Odin's Sight again. You'll spot another clue on a rock to the west – it's a blood trail.
- 4Follow this blood trail northwest. It'll lead you to a farmer chilling on top of a rock. Chat with him; he's got the scoop! Turns out, the 'beast' is actually a super-aggressive chicken that somehow managed to take down a bear. Yeah, you read that right. The farmer explains that after tasting the bear's blood, it went into a frenzy and needs to be stopped.
- 5The farmer will point out the beast nearby. All you have to do is jump down from the rock and face it. Don't let the 'bear-killing chicken' thing fool you – this fight isn't going to be a huge challenge. Your weapons will do massive damage, and even though it's tougher than your average farm fowl, it'll go down pretty quickly.
- 6Once the chicken beast is dealt with, chat with the farmer again. He'll help you craft the flower crown. Then, it's back to Mayda at the festival grounds in Ravensthorpe to wrap things up.
