Barret Combat Guide: Barret Wallace

Barret is a ranged character with high HP, making him an excellent tank. Utilize skills like Lifesaver to draw aggro and Maximum Fury for sustained damage. For maximum DPS, continuously use Maximum Fury until the enemy is pressured, then follow up with Focused Shot to stagger them. Revert to Maximum Fury, occasionally using Overcharge for significant damage and pressure gauge increase, especially when Bonus Round is active.

Overcharge is Barret's signature move, dealing high damage and boosting the pressure gauge. While its recharge time is slow, the Overload Overcharge Weapon Skill can improve it.

Best Abilities For Barret

Barret's best abilities are learned through his weapons:

• Steelskin: Temporarily reduces damage taken and interruption susceptibility.

Focused Shot and Maximum Fury: Maximum Fury is ideal for damaging multiple enemies, while Focused Shot is best used on pressured opponents. Both skills deal extra damage when used with two ATB Charges.
