Start the Quest: Arrive in Cosmo Canyon and find Kamaria at Kamaria’s Ranch. She will ask you to find her daughter, Shani, who has lost her confidence in riding Chocobos. You'll need to catch the Cosmo Canyon Chocobo, Aponi, which can be found north of the ranch. This involves a stealth section where Cloud must use minecarts to block lookouts' views.

First Training Course: After catching Aponi, head to the first training course located a short walk from the Cosmo Canyon Airstrip. Speak with Shani, then interact with the Chocobo weathervane to begin the gliding challenge. Aim for at least 1,800 points to pass, with 3,600 points potentially unlocking Yuffie's weapon, the Crescent Sickle. Use fans to gain altitude and avoid plummeting.

Second Training Course: This course is located south of where you acquired Aponi. Speak with Shani again before starting. The targets move side-to-side, requiring precise timing. Wait for starting targets to align before taking off. Aim for 3,600 points to complete this part of the quest. Move gently towards the direction the targets are moving to pass through them.

Third Training Course: The final course is behind Kamaria’s Ranch. Speak with Shani for the last time. This course features moving targets and requires risky diving maneuvers. Aim for 4,800 points to successfully complete the challenge.

Quest Completion: After finishing the third course, a cutscene will play showing Shani regaining her confidence.
