Hey there! Ready to dive into some side quests in Final Fantasy VII Rebirth? The 'Lifeline in Peril' quest is a good one to tackle early on. You can pick it up from the noticeboard in Kalm after you've finished the main story quest 'Break in the Saddle'.

Before you jump in, make sure you're around level 18. If not, don't worry! Just do some world intel activities in the Grasslands to level up a bit. Also, it's a good idea to equip your party with the strongest weapons you have available right now.

Starting the Lifeline in Peril Side Quest

You'll find the noticeboard in the northern part of Kalm. Once you accept the quest, you'll need to head to the Mako Pipeline Maintenance Warehouse. It's located southeast of the Wastelands Tower.

Gather The Parts Needed to Repair the Mako Pipeline

When you get to the warehouse, you'll meet Kyrie. She needs your help finding some parts to fix the Mako Pipeline: 1-3 Slabs of Rusted Sheet Metal and 2-5 Corroded Nails. You can finish the quest with the minimum amount of parts, but if you manage to find the full set (3 Slabs and 5 Nails), you'll get an extra 3,000 gil as a reward!

Walkthrough:

1. Head to the Marked Locations: Once you're at the warehouse, look for the marked spots on your map. These will lead you to where the Slabs of Rusted Sheet Metal and Corroded Nails are. Just grab the required amount (or all of them if you're aiming for the bonus gil!).
2. Deliver the Parts: Take the parts back to Kyrie at the warehouse.
3. Follow Kyrie to the Damaged Pipe: After handing over the parts, you'll need to escort Kyrie to the Mako Pipeline. Be ready for some fiends along the way – clear them out so Kyrie can reach the pipe safely.
4. Defeat the Noxicaps: When you reach the damaged pipe, Kyrie will start the repairs. While she's working, you'll be attacked by multiple Noxicaps. These enemies can be a bit tricky, but a good strategy is to pressure them with Fire Spells. Once they're pressured, hit them with Cloud's Focused Thrust to stagger them and finish them off quickly.
5. Return to Kalm: Once Kyrie successfully repairs the Mako Pipeline, the quest will be complete. Head back to Kalm and report to the mayor to officially close out the 'Lifeline in Peril' side quest.

Tips:

• Try to collect all the parts (3 Slabs and 5 Nails) to get the bonus 3,000 gil reward.
• Use Fire Spells to pressure the Noxicaps, making them easier to stagger with Focused Thrust.
