Cards de Amor Challenge - Round 1
You have three enemy cards on the board in the back column and three cards in hand: 015 Zu, 023 Fleetwing, and 014 Quetzalcoatl. Two cards require two pawns, but only one such spot is available. Place the Fleetwing card on the bottom row. Then, place the Zu card in the top left corner, and the Quetzalcoatl in the only remaining two-pawn spot. This will win two of the three rows and complete the challenge.
Cards de Amor Challenge - Round 2
The opponent occupies two columns, with a Magic Pot on the board. You have three cards in hand. The only initial placement spot has three pawns; place the Fat Chocobo there in the lower left corner. Next, place the Posh Chocobo in the lower right corner, and the Chocobo & Moogle in between them. The Posh Chocobo grants three bonus points, bringing the total for that row to 17 points and securing victory.
Cards de Amor Challenge - Round 3
You have three cards, and playing the Moogle Trio spawns two more cards (Moogle Mage and Moogle Bard) into your hand. Start by placing Fleetwing in the right spot. Then, place the Moogle Trio on the left one with two pawns. Place the Moogle Mage below the Fleetwing and the Moogle Bard above the Moogle Trio. Finally, place the Grasslands Wolf in the lower left corner.
Card Carnival: Spears and Needles
With four cards in hand and three spots available, begin by placing the Cactuar in the middle of the top three spots. Place one Spearhawk to the right of the Cactuar. The second Spearhawk goes below the first, and Quetzalcoatl is placed below the second Spearhawk. This strategy wins the middle and bottom rows.
Card Carnival: Sea Devil by Night
The opponent's Mindflayer card reduces the power of cards played on affected tiles by one. Prioritize placing Sea Devils early. Start by placing the Security Officer in the middle spot on the bottom row. This will create three-pawn tiles above and to its left. Place the two Sea Devils on these tiles. Then, place one Mandragora on the left in the middle row, and the two Mandragora Minions along the bottom row. The middle Sea Devil should reach a power of seven, and the bottom one a power of five.
Card Carnival: A Kingly Clash
You have six cards in hand. Start by playing the two Zu cards on the top and bottom rows in their respective one-pawn and two-pawn tiles. Place the Tonberry King in the open slot on the right, in the middle. Then, play the two Deathwheels on the top left and bottom left corners. This will destroy most of your cards, powering up the Tonberry King. For the final move, place the Mindflayer between the two Deathwheels, destroying them as well. The Tonberry King should reach 15 power, winning the battle.
Card Carnival: Power-Down Practice
This is a practice puzzle with no reward. Place one Archdragon on the bottom row, and the second Archdragon to its right. Finally, place the Quetzalcoatl on the two-pawn spot in the middle row.
