Walkthrough
  1. 1
Unlocking the Protorelic Intel: First, unlock the Junon region’s Chocobo. Second, activate one of the towers in the region. This will prompt Chadley to discuss the Protorelic, revealing the first location on your map.
  2. 2
Fort Condor Minigame: The minigame is exclusive to Junon and does not involve playing against random NPCs. All units are provided, divided into Hero Units and Ally Units. ATB is required to summon units, with each costing no more than 3 ATB. Units are Vanguard (weak to Defender), Ranged (weak to Vanguard), or Defender (weak to Ranged). Some units have neutral icons and are not part of this triangle. Enemy units approach from the right side of the screen. The timer reaching zero results in an automatic loss. The goal is to destroy the enemy Headquarters.
  3. 3
Protorelic: Fort Condor Stage 1: Located southeast of Tower 2: Buffeted Cape Tower. Head east up the hill from the tower, then take the detour south around the ship. This Protorelic is part of the Fort Condor game. Use your first option for both Hero and Ally Units. You have unlimited troops for non-elite units if you have ATB. Monitor the right side for enemy unit approach and the upper right for the weapon triangle. All enemy units are called when one minute remains. Summoning the same unit type as your Hero Units fills their gauges, allowing for special attacks.
  4. 4
Protorelic: Fort Condor Stage 2: Found in the inlet in the southern portion of the map. The second round is similar to the first. The first enemy units appear on the right, ending with an Archfiend, which bypasses normal troops to attack your Outpost. Outposts can handle Archfiends. There are two Archfiends, one on each side. The final wave includes a Wyvern, a flying beast with no special behavior.
  5. 5
Protorelic: Fort Condor Stage 3: It is possible to reach this Protorelic early, but it is easier to wait until you have the When Words Won’t Do quest, which opens up the Crow’s Nest area on the eastern side of the map. The difficulty increases with the Gilgacannon Tower boss unit and the Warlord, a new, beefy enemy unit with high health that is sent out first.
