World Intel Data Points & Rewards

Master Final Fantasy VII Rebirth's World Intel! Learn how to complete Remnawave Towers, Chocobo Wrangling, Classified Intel, Divine Intel, Excavation Intel, and Expedition Intel for Data Points and rewards.

World Intel in Final Fantasy VII Rebirth is a collection of activities scattered across the open world, primarily designed to reveal map locations and reward players with Data Points and other useful items. These activities include activating Remnawave Towers, engaging in Chocobo Wrangling, defeating Classified Foes, completing Divine Intel VR battles, excavating buried treasures, and scanning Lifesprings.

Activation Intel - Remnawave Towers: Find and activate a panel on a Remnawave Tower to reveal nearby World Intel. Often, monsters will be guarding the tower, and defeating them is necessary. Shinra boxes can also be found on the towers.

Chocobo Intel: Chocobo Wrangling: Each region features a unique chocobo variant. Players must sneak past wary chocobos and catch the target chocobo unawares. Completing these events grants Party XP and Data Points, and allows the player to ride chocobos in that region for fast travel.

Classified Intel: Classified Foes: After scanning a sufficient number of Lifesprings, the location of a legendary beast will be revealed. Defeating these beasts grants rare materials, contributes to the region's bestiary, unlocks VR battles, and awards Party XP and Data Points.

Divine Intel: Sanctuaries: These involve VR battles to obtain summon materia. Players can find sanctuaries by locating them directly or by following Guidestones. Upon finding a sanctuary, a timed button-prompt minigame must be completed. Completing Divine Intel allows players to fight weaker summon variants via VR, boosts summon materia potency, and awards Party XP and Data Points.

Excavation Intel: Buried Transmuter Chips: Scanning Lifesprings can reveal the locations of buried treasures, often containing Transmuter Chips. These chips increase the crafting capacity of the Item Transmuter, potentially yielding key items for side quests or enhanced armor. Chocobos are used to sniff out these buried locations.

Expedition Intel: Lifesprings: Springseeker owls guide players to Lifesprings. Scanning these fonts of crystalized life force provides regional intel, leading to other World Intel sites, and awards Data Points. Materials can also be found nearby.
