Titan and Bahamut Arisen Boss Guide

Master the Titan and Bahamut Arisen boss fight in Final Fantasy VII Rebirth. Learn their weaknesses, phases, and the best strategies to overcome this challenging superboss.

Stats / Weaknesses:

• Bahamut Arisen: No weaknesses. High HP. Extremely dangerous due to Gigaflare.
• Titan: Weak to Wind. Less HP than Bahamut.

Phases:

1. Phase 1: Both Summons Active
   • Both summons start with a protective barrier that must be destroyed. Destroying one drops the barrier on both. The one you directly destroy becomes pressured.
   • You must choose whether to focus on Bahamut Arisen or Titan first.
   • Bahamut Arisen is more dangerous due to Gigaflare, but has more HP.
   • Titan has less HP and a Wind weakness, making him easier to defeat, but risks Bahamut using Gigaflare.
   • Recommendation: Focus on Bahamut Arisen first.
2. Phase 2: Defeating Bahamut Arisen
   • Once Bahamut Arisen is defeated, you'll only have Titan remaining.
3. Phase 3: Defeating Titan
   • With Bahamut gone, Titan is much easier to defeat.
   • This concludes the tempering trial.

Strategy:

• Materia Loadout:
  • Maxed out Wind Materia on one or two characters for Aerogas.
  • Consider pairing Wind with Magic Focus for extra power.
  • Elemental Materia on a weapon can grant wind damage on normal attacks.
  • Barrier Materia linked to Magnify for Manawall is highly recommended for survivability.
  • Healing Materia on everyone is essential.
  • Prayer Materia on the character with the best ATB generation as a backup healer.
  • Steadfast Block and Precision Defense Focus Materias are useful.
  • Item Master can be helpful since items are usable.
• Barrier Mechanic:
  • Both summons start with a shield. Destroying one breaks the shield for both.
  • Focusing on destroying one barrier will pressure that summon.
• Dealing with Bahamut Arisen:
  • Be wary of Gigaflare; it's extremely powerful.
  • Synergy Skills and Abilities can help with exploding particles that attach to you. Using them removes the particles and temporarily pressures Bahamut.
  • If Bahamut uses Particle Charge, target his wings to break them, which is key to preventing him from changing forms and using Gigaflare.
• Dealing with Titan:
  • Utilize Wind Materia (Aerogas) to exploit his weakness.
  • Titan may use Earthen Fury, his ultimate attack. There's no way to stop it, so be prepared to heal afterward.
• General Combat:
  • Keep your health as close to full as possible, especially when both summons are active, as they can be aggressive and overwhelming.
  • The battle is otherwise standard after the initial barrier mechanic.
