This guide details the locations and challenges for all four Gongaga Protorelics in Final Fantasy VII Rebirth. These involve completing VR missions with specific enemy encounters.

1. Phenomenon Intel 1: Turks Training

   Location: Southern portion of Gongaga, near the Cliffside Storehouse cache. Head down stairs to an underground lab.

   Enemies:

   • Round 1: Orc, Levrikon, Grasslands Wolf
   • Round 2: Enmidunk and Aggrevrikon
   • Round 3: Grassland Wolves and Thunderclaw

   Strategy:

   • Round 1: Use Ice spells (Blizzara) for Grassland Wolves, Fire spells (Fira, Firebolt Blade) for Orcs. Levrikons are weak to both Fire and Ice.
   • Round 2: Enmidunk and Aggrevrikon are weak to Fire and Ice. Use stronger spells with Level Boost Materia. Keep distance from Enmidunk's Charge ability.
   • Round 3: Use Ice spells for Grassland Wolves. Inflict status effects like Poison or Bio on the Thunderclaw, which has no elemental weakness.
2. Phenomenon Intel 2: Dissident Destruction

   Location: Northeast of the Old Pipeline Tower. Reachable by jumping up via a mushroom and sliding down a rope to an underground lab.

   Enemies:

   • Round 1: Deathwheel
   • Round 2: Slug-Ray
   • Round 3: J-Unit Sweeper

   Choice: Killing, Interrogating, or letting the insurgent go. Interrogating aligns with Tseng.

   Strategy:

   • Round 1: Use ranged attacks (Yuffie's ninjutsu) against Deathwheels, exploiting their Fire, Ice, and Wind weakness. Keep moving to avoid the GOT Missile attack.
   • Round 2: Keep distance and use Lightning spells or Ninjutsu against Slug-Rays. Focus on one at a time.
   • Round 3: Use high-level Lightning spells (Thundara) to pressure J-Unit Sweepers. Use limit breaks or synergy abilities. Avoid their Stomp attack.
3. Phenomenon Intel 3: His Personal Escorts

   Location: Southeast of the Gongaga Port Fast Travel. Follow the path south of the port and jump across a gap via a mushroom.

   Enemies:

   • Round 1: Riot Trooper, Grenadier, Security Trooper
   • Round 2: Slug Ray, Elite Grenadiers
   • Round 3: Slug-Ray, Flametrooper

   Strategy:

   • Round 1: Exploit Fire weakness. Use Cloud’s Firebolt Blade. Hit Riot Troopers from behind due to their shields.
   • Round 2: Deal with Elite Grenadiers first, then focus on one Slug-Ray at a time. Use Lightning spells (Thundara) to pressure them, then finish with Braver.
   • Round 3: Keep your distance (play as Barret or Yuffie), hit elemental weaknesses, and keep HP topped up until the timer reaches 0.
4. Phenomenon Intel 4: The Deadliest Game

   Location: West of Gongaga.
