How to Skip The Nibelheim Demo

Alright, so you've booted up Final Fantasy VII Rebirth for the first time and you're wondering about that Nibelheim demo segment. Good news: you can skip a good chunk of it! Here's how to make your way through it quickly and snag some sweet bonus items.

First things first, head over to the bonuses section on the main menu. From there, select the “Check Saved Data” option. This is where you'll port over your FFVII Rebirth Demo Save. Doing this nets you some extra goodies, specifically the Kupo Charm & Survival Set, and you get these no matter if you actually finished the demo or not. So, definitely do this!

Once that's done, you'll want to start a new game. Play through the prologue like usual, and you'll eventually reach the Nibelheim segment. Now, here's the important part: you can't skip the *entire* Nibelheim section, but you can skip a significant portion of it. You'll need to play through just a little bit until you meet up with Tifa. Right after that, you should see a notification pop up confirming your Final Fantasy VII Rebirth Save Data. When prompted, select “yes” to skip the rest of this area and jump straight to the village. Easy peasy!
