Fiend Intel 1: Roaring Flames

You'll find this one northeast of the Airstrip Tower, pretty much at the northernmost point of the map. You're up against three Pyretails. They're not too tough on their own, but getting all three objectives done before they're toast can be the real challenge. Here's the trick: wait until they're glowing with a blue flame. That's your cue to hit 'em with Cloud's Firebolt Blade to pressure them, then quickly follow up with Focused Thrust to stagger them. Do that, and you'll nail all the objectives!

Fiend Intel 2: Gluttonous Devourer

Head north from the Gull Bridge Tower. Follow the stream until you find a small cave. Hop on your Chocobo and use the Chocojet boost to reach a small area where this intel is located. You'll face four Carnifex here. Just like the last one, the main hurdle is getting the objectives done without just blasting them to bits. They're weak to Ice, so have Aerith whip out Blizzard – her magic damage is usually top-notch. After you pressure them, use any focused attack to stagger them. Easy peasy!

Fiend Intel 3: Mako-Cursed Abomination

This one's southeast of the Beacon Hill Tower. Two Marquis Valrons are waiting for you. Remember, you need to pressure and stagger them. They're weak to Ice, so again, Aerith's Blizzara or Yuffie's Ice Ninjutsu are your best bet. Follow up with Focused Thrust to stagger. Keep an eye out, though! These guys can hit you with Graviga, which will drop your health to critical. If that happens, quickly use Curaga to heal up. You don't want to get caught with low HP!

Fiend Intel 4: Stone-Cold Spitter

This intel is on a medium-sized island southwest of the Whitecap Reef Tower. You'll need to swim around to the east side of the island to find a big opening in the cliff. Use your Chocojet to boost yourself to the top. This is probably the toughest one in Nibel. You're facing a Suevite Disgorgon. The key to pressuring it is to wait until it starts its Petrifying Mist attack. Then, use Firebolt Blade or Braver to hit its exposed jaw. That'll pressure it! Once pressured, use Focused Thrust to stagger it. This is your window to deal massive damage using synergy abilities, Limit Breaks, or Cloud's Infinity's End. If you can summon, bring in Shiva – she's great against this enemy. Watch out for Toxic Shot and Petrifying Mist. If you get hit by Petrifying Mist, use a Gold Needle or Esuna ASAP to cure the Petrify status, or you'll be stuck as a statue!
