Masamune: Auron

Alright, let's get Auron's Celestial Weapon, the Masamune, sorted! It's a two-part process: first, we grab the Mars Crest, and then we work on the Mars Sigil.

Mars Crest

First up, the Mars Crest. You'll find this on the Mi'ihen Highroad, specifically in the Oldroad section. If you remember fighting the Chocobo Eater and it knocked you off the cliff, you're in luck! Just head south from where you land, and you'll find a chest with the crest at a dead end. If the Chocobo Eater didn't send you flying, no worries. Head north from the Travel Agency until you reach a fork in the road. Take the path heading southeast; this will lead you to the Oldroad. The Mars Crest is waiting for you at the very end of this path.

Mars Sigil

Now for the Mars Sigil. This one requires a bit more effort, as you'll need to unlock a total of ten Area or Species Creations in the Monster Arena. Remember, Area Creations pop up when you've captured at least one of every fiend from a specific area. Species Creations require you to capture a certain number of fiends belonging to a particular species. Once you've met that requirement for ten different creations, head back to the Monster Arena NPC. The Mars Sigil will be waiting for you in a chest right in front of them.
