Alright, let's talk about the Chimera. You'll run into these guys in the Macalania Woods, and honestly, they're a bit of a mixed bag. On one hand, they hit pretty hard and can be a pain, but on the other, they give out a ton of AP, which is super useful for leveling up. So, while they're tough, they're definitely worth the effort!

Chimera (Macalania Woods) - Stats & Drops

• HP: 5,250
• Overkill HP: 1,432
• AP: 1,220
• Weaknesses: Nothing
• Resistances: Fire/Water (Halved)
• Common Drop: Ability Sphere (x1)
• Rare Drop: Ability Sphere (x2)
• Common Steal: Arctic Wind
• Rare Steal: Lightning Marble

When you encounter a Chimera, it'll usually start with a random attack. After that, it tends to follow a pattern. It can hit your whole party with Aqua Breath, which is a water-based attack. It also has Megiddo Flame, a fire attack that targets a single character. And of course, there's Thundara, which you've probably seen a million times by now. The good news is, if you use the Provoke ability on it, the Chimera will only use Thundara. Combine that with Silence, and you can really shut down its more dangerous attacks, making the fight much more manageable.

Later on, you'll face a much tougher version of the Chimera in an area called Home. This one has significantly higher stats, so be prepared! It also has a nasty habit of retaliating with Thundaga if you try to use Provoke on it. Other than that, its skills are pretty much the same as the earlier version. Just be ready for a stat check and keep up the pressure!
