Alright, let's talk about the Cactuar. You'll find these guys out in the Sanubia Desert, and honestly, they can be a real pain if you're not ready for them. Think of them as the more annoying older sibling of the Qactuar you might have met back in the Thunder Plains.

These fiends have a super high evasion rate, making them really tough to hit with regular attacks. On top of their normal physical attack, they've got this move called 10,000 Needles. Yeah, it lives up to its name and hits one character for exactly 10,000 damage. There's really no way to defend against that unless you've gone way out of your way to unlock the Break HP Limit ability, which is pretty advanced stuff.

Just like their Qactuar cousins, these guys love to run away. If their HP drops below 50%, they're outta there. The really good news, though? Cactuars are fantastic for grinding AP. If you can manage an Overkill, you can rack up a massive 12,000 AP! Attacks that can't miss, like Overdrives and Aeon specials, are your best bet here. Even the 'Use' ability can be surprisingly effective.

• Be aware they flee when below 50% HP, so try to finish them off quickly if you're farming AP.
• If you're struggling to hit them, consider abilities that increase accuracy or use characters with naturally high accuracy like Wakka.
