Mi'ihen Highroad South End

Ifrit Boss Fight: You must use Valefor against Ifrit. If Valefor's Overdrive gauge is full, use Grand Summon. Pay attention to the tutorial for the Shield (reduces damage, stops Overdrive gauge) and Boost (accelerates Overdrive gauge, increases damage taken) commands. Ifrit alternates between normal attacks and Meteor Strike. Use Shield when Meteor Strike is anticipated. Ifrit is immune to Sonic Wings' delay effect; use Blizzard for damage, but avoid Fire as Ifrit absorbs it. Ifrit has 3,500 HP.

Mi'ihen Highroad - South: Follow the road. In an alcove behind the Chocobo Knight, find a chest containing a Remedy. After a scene with a mother and daughter, you'll see a blitzball; interacting with it has Tidus kick it, but yields no reward. Speak to a child running around to receive three Softs. Speak to a Crusader to receive a Red Ring. Continue north.

Mi'ihen Highroad - Central: At the start, wait for an NPC walking from the south and speak to them for a Lv. 1 Key Sphere. These spheres unlock locked sections on the Sphere Grid. Continue north and speak to another NPC for four Antidotes. In a clearing on the right, find a hidden chest with 2,000 Gil. Speak to the next NPC for 600 Gil. After a scene with a wagon, an NPC to the left gives an Ether. In a clearing on the right, speak to Gatta and Luzzu for a scene. Another NPC to the north gives a Hi-Potion, and one more gives four Antidotes. Speak with Shelinda, who discusses Crusaders and Machina. At the northern tip, open a chest for three Eye Drops. Proceed to Rin's Travel Agency.
