Ixion (Moonflow)

Learn how to defeat Ixion, a powerful boss in Final Fantasy X HD Remaster. This guide covers its stats, weaknesses, and strategies for victory.

Stats / Weaknesses:

• HP: 6,000
• Overkill HP: 924
• AP: 0
• Weak: Nothing
• Strong: Thunder (Absorbs)

Phases:

1. Phase 1 (100% - 50% HP): Ixion uses normal physical attacks and Aerospark (physical damage).
2. Phase 2 (50% - 0% HP): Ixion casts Haste on itself, increasing its turn frequency.

Strategy:

• You can use both Ifrit and Valefor in this battle. If one Aeon is defeated, you can summon the other.
• Ifrit is a good choice to start with, as its Fire attack can replenish its own HP.
• If Yuna's Overdrive is ready, Ifrit's Hellfire can deal around half of Ixion's 6,000 HP.
• It's possible to defeat Ixion in just two Hellfire attacks if Yuna's stats are sufficiently developed.
• Be aware that using an Aeon's Overdrive might give Ixion multiple turns in a row. Ensure Yuna is well-developed on the Sphere Grid to handle this.
• Remember, winning this battle isn't mandatory, and the rewards for victory aren't significant.
