Condor: Bestiary

Hey there! So you've run into the Condor, huh? Don't worry, these guys are pretty common around Besaid and aren't too tough once you know what you're doing. They're flying fiends, so if you're not Wakka, you might have a bit of trouble hitting them with regular physical attacks. But hey, that's what magic is for!

Stats / Weaknesses:

• HP: 95
• Overkill HP: 143
• AP: 2
• Weak: Fire
• Strong: Nothing

Item Drops:

• Common Drop: Speed Sphere
• Rare Drop: Speed Sphere
• Common Steal: Phoenix Down
• Rare Steal: Smoke Bomb

Strategy:

• Since the Condor is weak to Fire, Lulu is your best bet here. A few of her spells should take it down pretty quickly.
• Wakka can also hit flying enemies, so he's a solid choice too.
• Keep an eye out for its attacks. It has a small chance of inflicting Darkness, which can make hitting it harder for your physical attackers.
• There's also a slight chance it'll decide to focus all its attention on Wakka. If that happens, just keep healing him and attacking with your magic users.

You'll see these guys a lot in the areas around Besaid, so getting a handle on them now will make things smoother later on!
