Alright, so you've stumbled into the Macalania Woods and are running into this lizard-like critter called the Iguion. Don't let its appearance fool you; it can dish out some annoying status effects like Silence and Petrify, which can really mess up your day. Thankfully, it's not too tough once you know what you're doing.

Stats / Weaknesses:

• HP: 370
• Overkill HP: 555
• AP: 240
• Weakness: Ice
• Resistances: Fire/Water (Halves damage)

Item Drops:

• Common Drop: Speed Sphere (x1)
• Rare Drop: Power Sphere (x1)
• Common Steal: Soft
• Rare Steal: Petrify Grenade

Strategy:

• Since the Iguion can be a bit evasive, characters with high accuracy are your best bet. Tidus and Wakka are perfect for this role, as their attacks are more likely to land.
• Even though it's weak to Ice, the Iguion has a higher magic defense. This means you'll want to use your strongest Ice spells, like Blizzara, especially if you have Lulu casting them. Her magic power should be more than enough to overcome its defense.
• Keep an eye on the status effects it can inflict. Silence will prevent you from using magic, and Petrify will instantly KO a character. Bring along some Softs to cure Petrify, or just be ready to swap out a petrified party member quickly.
• If you're aiming for an Overkill, you'll need to deal 555 damage. This might be a bit tricky given its HP, but focusing your strongest attacks and magic can get you there.
