Ifrit (Remiem)

Alright, you're heading to Remiem Temple to face Belgemine's Aeons, and the second one up is Ifrit. Don't let the name fool you – even though he's all about fire, he's not actually weak to Ice. So, while Shiva is a decent choice here, it's not just because of elemental weakness. Ifrit's got a couple of tricks, mainly his physical attack and a counter called Meteor Strikes. His Overdrive is still Hellfire, which you'll recognize if you've fought him before. Shiva's NulBlaze ability and high Agility make her a solid pick, though!

• Weak: Nothing
• Strong: Fire (Absorbs)

• First Time: X-Potion (x30)
• Subsequent Times: Mana Sphere (x6)

Strategy:

• Since Ifrit absorbs Fire attacks, definitely don't use any fire magic or abilities against him.
• Even though he's not weak to Ice, Shiva is still a great choice. Her NulBlaze ability can significantly reduce the damage from his fire-based attacks, and her high Agility means she'll likely get turns more often.
• Be ready to counter his physical attacks, as he often follows up with Meteor Strikes.
• Keep an eye on his Overdrive gauge; when it fills, he'll unleash Hellfire. Having NulBlaze active can help mitigate some of that damage.
