Hey there! So, you've probably noticed those little aqua-colored spheres on the Sphere Grid, right? Those are Clear Spheres, and they're super important if you're looking to really max out your stats for those super tough superbosses later on. Think of them as a way to totally customize your grid, swapping out weaker stat boosts for stronger ones. You can't get these from monsters, no matter how hard you try, so listen up!

How to Get Clear Spheres:

• First off, you can't just buy these whenever you want. You'll need to unlock them in the Monster Arena shop.
• To do that, you have to capture at least five of *every single fiend* that appears in the Monster Arena. Yeah, all of them!
• Once you've done that massive undertaking, Clear Spheres will become available for purchase.
• They cost 10,000 gil a pop, so start saving up!

What They Do (and Don't Do):

• Clear Spheres let you remove any stat node on the Sphere Grid. This means you can get rid of those pesky +1 or +2 boosts.
• Important: They cannot remove Ability or Locked nodes. So, don't waste them trying to clear those!
• The real magic happens when you use a Clear Sphere to remove a weak stat node, and then immediately use a stronger stat sphere (like a Strength Sphere +4) to fill that empty spot. This lets you get a much bigger stat increase in that location.

Why Bother?

• Honestly, you don't *need* Clear Spheres to beat the main story. The game's plenty beatable without them.
• However, if you're aiming to take down the game's superbosses, like Penance or the Dark Aeons, then Clear Spheres are practically mandatory. They're your key to squeezing every last bit of power out of your characters by optimizing your Sphere Grid.
