• Physical Attack: Has a Dispel effect, removing even Auto-Life.
• Heavenly Strike: Inflicts KO, Berserk, and Confuse (plus damage). If you lack Ribbon/Deathproof, it's an instant KO.
• Diamond Dust: Non-elemental, hits all party members. Unhalvable but predictable.

Strategy:

• Armor is Key: You'll pretty much NEED Ribbon for this battle, or a combination of Death-, Berserk-, and Confuseproof armor. Without these, Dark Shiva will likely overwhelm you with status effects.
• Auto-Abilities: Auto-Protect is invaluable as it halves the damage from her basic attack and Heavenly Strike, making them survivable. Auto-X-Potion will also help significantly with healing if you have sufficient Defense. Auto-Haste is essential to counter her 255 Agility and ensure you get enough turns.
• Opening Moves: If you don't have Auto-Protect, it's wise to open the battle by casting Mighty G. Dark Shiva might remove it, but it gives you a buffer.
• Offensive Strategy: Once your buffs are up, go into an infinite series of Quick Hits. The goal is to deal significant damage before her next turn.
• Aeon Fodder: Remember to send in cannon fodder Aeons before Diamond Dust to absorb the hit, as usual.
• Overdrives: Use Overdrives whenever possible to maximize your damage output.
• Agility Matters: The higher your base Agility, the better. If your Agility is too low, Dark Shiva will get far too many turns before you can act.
• Turn Efficiency: This fight is about avoiding Heavenly Strike's ailments and maximizing the efficiency of the turns you do get.
