Solitary Fragrance

First things first, you need to head to the location marked on your mini-map. The quest will guide you, but essentially, you're looking for Zhongli. He's waiting for you at Dihua Marsh. If you've already been to the Guili Plains waypoint, make your way southeast from there towards some ruins.

As soon as you arrive at the ruins, you'll run into some trouble. Get ready to fight a group of Fatui Skirmishers. This group includes an Electrohammer Vanguard, a Cryogunner Legionnaire, and a Geochanter Bracer lurking a bit further back. The Cryogunner is weak to Pyro, and the Electrohammer falls to Cryo. The Geochanter doesn't have a specific weakness but can buff its allies, so it's usually best to take it out first if it joins the fight early. If not, focus on the Cryogunner. Once they're dealt with, look for a nearby ruined structure. Climb up it to find the Fatui Research notes sitting on a crate.

After you've examined the research, it's time to meet Zhongli. Teleport to the Luhua Pool waypoint and head north, following the riverbank. You'll find Zhongli chilling by a tree. Approach him, and a cutscene will play where he mentions he's searching for a specific Glaze Lily known for its potent aroma.

Now, you'll need to help Zhongli search for this special lily. Follow the riverbank south. Keep an eye out, and you'll eventually spot the lily. After another scene, you'll be prompted to sing to it. Doing so will summon three Cryo Whopperflowers. These frosty foes are weak to Pyro and Electro, with Pyro being particularly effective. Try to break their shields, as this will stun them for a short period, making them easier to defeat. Once you've taken them down, another scene will play. You'll see Ganyu, and she'll kindly offer you a wild Glaze Lily.

With the lily secured, it's time to head back to Liyue Harbor. Teleport to the waypoint just north of the Harbor and make your way south towards its entrance. It looks like there's some commotion happening between the Qixing and the Adepti. Speak to a Fatui member named Felix, and he'll fill you in on what's going on. After this final scene, the quest will conclude.
